This vast park and museum hosts some of the most distinctive aircrafts that made the postwar history, from the conflict in Korea, Vietnam, Iran-Iraq, to the very recent conflicts of the Gulf, and former Yugoslavia. Over 40 aircrafts displayed in the open-air garden in a surface of more than 2 kilometers allow you to get into Clark Gable's plane, the one that hosted famous stars as Marilyn Monroe, John and Ted Kennedy or get near to the famous but unfortunate MIG 23, the Libyan aircraft that fell over the Silla promontory during the accident of Ustica. Between the many aircrafts which served air forces from all over the world you can also meet the Phantom, the famous American fighter in the Vietnam war, and some remains of the three Frecce Tricolori involved in the tragic exhibition of Ramstein of August 28, 1988. In the covered Pavilion you can then admire some of the uniforms and suits used by our pilots together with hundreds of never displayed photos, decorations and medals awarded by the heroes of our Country.
