This environment is already infinitely rich because of the famous Onferno grottoes. In addition, there is the Nature Museum of the Onferno reserve, which has up-to-date technology and is located in the old parish church of Santa Colomba which dates back nine Centuries. Visitors follow a route of multimedia with interactive stations to learn about nature and the history of this area. There are different types of chalk on display which are part of the geological formation of the area, together with other minerals and items found in the area. There is an interesting local ornithological collection which has some examples of birds from the reserve and surrounding area. There are also reproductions and interactive simulations of bats which are the most characteristic animals of this area.
