Overview
The first Sunday in October each year is the unusual Walnut Festival in the ancient suburb of Saludecio. The festival is a sort of welcome to the colors and fruits of autumn but it has another significance as it is related to the religious figure of Christ. The food stands offer delicacies created using walnuts while musical entertainment is provided in the background. The festival is held from 3p-7p and entrance is free to one and all.
