Terrazza Ceccarini, Rimini

Climbing the fishing-net adorned stairs, to the Terrazza Ceccarini, you might think the decor a little pretentious—but interesting—at times postmodern. The tiny tables and lack of menu are the only disadvantages of this restaurant. The fish is excellent and freshly cooked. For starters, consider the seafood salad with white beans, Capasanta with red peppers, or barbecued squid and Courgettes. Next there are Gnocchetti with shrimps or Tagliolini with scampi. The second course offers baked fish alla Caprese, sea-bass or salted scampi. To end with, there is fresh fruit, good desserts and an unusual mandarin liqueur.
