Which is the most famous restaurant in Rimini? The one everyone has heard of? Undoubtedly it has to be Il Lurido, in the heart of the charming Borgo San Giuliano. A "mythical" restaurant, the home of abundant, sanguine and popular refreshment. Simply decorated without any special frills and with informal and very rapid service which is nevertheless polite and attentive. The menu is always the same. Wine? OK, there is a cool house white to be drunk in the same water glass). Appetizers? Cuttlefish salad, scallops, crab, sea-bass, mussels and clams. Then the first courses: rice with shellfish, stuffed pasta with salmon, tagliolini (pasta) with fish sauce. For those not yet sated, it continues with the inevitable grills: seared sole and sardines, skewered shrimp and squid. Finally, do not miss the creamy lemon sorbet and the gourmand desserts made in house, cookies, cakes, Bavarian creams with zabaglione.
