Artù Café, Rome

Set in a centuries-old palace on Piazza Sant’Egidio, the Artù's interior of this café-meets-pub drips with warm wood and wrought iron. Did we mention it’s near Trastevere? Or that if you come between 6:30PM and 9PM, the purchase of a drink opens the door to a bar top full of struzzichini, otherwise known as Italian snacks: wheels of cheese, mountains of sliced meat and bowls of olives. One of the best Rome nightlife for a mellow social gathering, Artù keeps the bar stocked with plenty of high-quality craft beers and there’s a long cocktail list. For the insatiable eater, there’s also a menu of hearty sandwiches and pasta dishes.
