Opened in Rome in 1969, the Charly Saucerie is the only restaurant in the capital that offers a menu exclusively French with an impeccable and refined presentation by its chef, Karl Zyka, aka Charly. House specialties include are the Fegato d'oca tartufato and the Filetto alla Bordolese, the cheese fondues and fondue Bourguignon. The soups and soufflé are also particularly good. Booking is advisable, to avoid queuing up. Fine wine list with many rare labels.
