Overview

The Criminology Museum or the Museo Criminologico, established in 1931, is a valuable source of material for scholars, students of Forensic Science and the general public. The museum brings to light not just the sophistication in crimes in the last few centuries, but also gives visitors an insight into the workings of the criminal mind. Divided into three sections, the first deals with the categories of crime and the second into the investigative systems used by the police. The third section is a deeper probe into the sentences and their effects on prisoners. In addition, displays of ammunition used by infamous thugs of the Italian underground and the Mafia are also featured in the collection. So visit the museum for a better understanding of the criminal mind.
