This lovely pizzeria is hidden away on a small backstreet. It is well worth taking the time to look for it because it serves excellent food and is a great place for parties as well as offering discounts for students. The pizzeria is split into two rooms. There is one more traditional room with a buffet of antipasti. The rooms are separated by a partition with windows. The second room is more rustic and has a beautiful trompe d'oeil picture of a hamlet with fields around it. There is background music while you eat. The restaurant sometimes serves Roman style pizza which is crunchy and thicker and at other times it serves the classic Neapolitan style pizza which is softer with a lighter base. It's a good idea to ring in advance to find out which pizza they are serving if you have a particular preference. Their Neapolitan pizzas are seasoned with buffalo mozzarella and extra-virgin oil from Puglia (which they also use in their excellent toasts). The pizzeria is renowned for its excellent homemade desserts. They serve pastries, tiramisù as well as many other kinds of jam, fruit and pine nut tarts. Every day they have a menu which is designed for children.
