The restaurant takes its name from the steps that descend directly onto Viale Parioli. It is an established restaurant in this upmarket Roman district. The restaurant is welcoming, very traditional, well-furnished and offers a courteous service. The cuisine is typically Italian, mixing dishes from both north and south Italy. The owner, Fabio gilardoni, is originally from Como so there has to be a choice of risottos. Main courses made of chicken and meat cooked with seasonal vegetables will leave a memorable impression. Every evening, focaccia is available as is the traditional pizza. The seafood is fresh so why not try risotto with baby squid? There is a wide selection of Italian wines.
