This restaurant is located in one of Rome's more traditional areas; one favored by locals who come here in the evenings for the pleasant atmosphere. Parking can be a problem. The cuisine comprises traditional Roman dishes: La Pajata, La Coda alla Vaccinara, Puntarelle with anchovies, Maccaroni All'Amatriciana (a sauce made with pork, onion, tomato and pecorino cheese), or cheese and pepper. The artichokes are highly recommended, as is Pecorino cheese with beans, when in season. The dishes are not light, but they rekindle traditional tastes.
