Mads, Rome

Mads is a self-described artistic project , located in the heart of San Lorenzo, Rome's University district. It is a pub/club meets art gallery. At the bottom of a spiral staircase you will find a grand underground club which utilizes its walls for displaying local artist's works, and more likely than not, some of the artists will be there at the bar having a beer! The bar is fully stocked, and the prices won't rob you blind. There's plenty of standing and sitting space alike, and plenty of wallflower-friendly walls and corners to lean against. After the live music finishes, prepare to shake a tail feather all night long!
