Overview

The Franciscan museum contains an interesting and little-known collection of objects. There are wonderful paintings dating as far back as 1300, and 20,000 articles that tell the story of St Francis and other members of this religious order. The collection includes prints, coins, seals, drawings and objects of everyday use. It is rather difficult to reach as it is on the major ring road but it certainly deserves a visit. Admission is Free.
