Rossosapore, Rome

Rossosapore is the Italian version of take-away food and quick bites. It is a sort of bakery and fried food stand that, besides the usual coffee, cappuccino and beverages, offers all Neapolitan specialties for breakfast, lunch or a snack. They start with brioches or richer southern pastries as zeppole (round cakes filled with cream) and sfogliatelle. Later in the day, Rossosapore also offers a large variety of sandwiches, stuffed pizza, croquettes or plain slices of pizza all made with carefully selected ingredients from Campania—buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes and fresh basil, to name just a few!). - Maria Frullini
