Caffè La Piazzetta, Siena

Have a seat at the outdoor tables in this quiet tiny square in the center of Siena that gives the name to the café right opposite it (Piazzetta = small piazza). During the cold months there is also a large cozy indoor hall! The café offers (besides usual coffees, cappuccino and pastries) a selection of panini either for a snack or lunch. Lunch menu includes also a choice of large salads and cold dishes (ham and cantaloupe, etc.). Aperitif is from 7p to 8:30p including plenty of appetizers and canapés, but also diet-wise snacks such as grapes, Pecorino cheese or crudités with light dipping sauces! -Maria Frullini
