Overview
Brolio Castle is one of Chianti's most famous fortifications. It lies about 10 kilometers from the city center. It is solid and imposing with strong bastions. It has an enclosure wall from the 15th Century that is about half a kilometer long. The palace is in Neo-Gothic style and dates from the 19th Century. Open daily from 10a onwards.
