Overview
Illustrious Physiocritical academics include Linneo, Algarotti, Spallanzani, Beccari, Volta, Paolo Mascagni, Koch and Louis Pasteur, just to give an idea of the scientific level involved. The museum offers a cross section of Tuscan geology from all periods and references to other parts of the world too. Samples of meteor rocks collected and catalogued in 1764 by Ambrogio Soldani in Lucignano are especially rare. Admission: Free.
