Bagno Ausonia, Trieste

Bagno Ausonia was founded at the beginning of 20th Century as a beach dedicated to seaside activities. Settled in the center of town along the Rive, easily reachable with public transportation, by feet or with the bicycle, Ausonia is still a fundamental point of attraction today for Triestine life, not only in summer. Even if it maintains its original function as a beach, Ausonia is now dedicated to the young nightlife: concerts, dancing nights, theatrics or comedians animate the evenings at this locale. Ausonia is managed by different associations. Perfect for sporty people during the day, at night it fits nicely with musicians and those who like to dance, with the beautiful gulf of Trieste as a natural frame and beauty.
