Bar Flavia, Trieste

This is not somewhere to spend a whole evening, especially as the location is not very central but if you are in the area it is a great place to stop for a coffee. On the road to Muggia, not far from Treste's industrial area, il Flavia, a really rough café has been transformed in recent years into a trendy bar where you can have breakfast, a roll or simply stop off for a coffee. The café is quiet, small and well-lit (the walls are mainly windows) but there is a room with a dozen tables and in summer you can even sit outside (even if the air is not too healthy). By day it is frequented by local workers, by night it becomes a meeting point for young people.
