Pizzeria Barattolo, Trieste

Barattolo is a pizzeria-restaurant in the center of Trieste, facing the Sant’Antonio square, where sits the evocative San Spiridione church, and the Ponterosso Canal. Founded in 1961, the pizzeria offers all kinds of Italian pizza using the traditional buffalo-milk cheese, or even special combinations with original ingredients. Barattolo is also a restaurant with international dishes, both meat or fish, and obviously homemade pasta and local wine. Enjoy a perfect view with the outside seating in the square, which is very nice during summer; yet if you prefer the traditional pizzeria atmosphere, you are welcome to stay inside. They can also arrange special tourist menu for groups.
