The Pub Club does not possess that certain refinement of real, traditional Victorian pubs, but it has a quiet and intimate atmosphere. Although customers have to share the long wooden tables, it is still an excellent place to go for a chat, to listen to quiet background music, and naturally, to eat and drink. It is a nice place to go in the Spring and Summer as it has a large covered garden which is furnished with rustic benches, and is well sheltered from the wind. There is a pool table. It has 60 places inside and 140 in the garden. It sells fifteen different types of bottled beer, and seven draft beers. It offers typical pub food, including various sandwiches and burgers. The chargrilled vegetables and cheeses are excellent, as are the pancakes. Its specialty is horse meat.
