Balbo is the best restaurant in downtown Turin, at the moment. Centrally located, warm, chic with a top level staff. You can taste excellent Agnolotti del Plin (minced beef handstuffed ravioli) with white Alba truffle grated upon request (and we strongly suggest it, at least once in a lifetime!), then a traditional Bollito (boiled beef) in green sauce or the great, classic Finanziera, that is, basically, a mix of deep fried veal kidney and liver, and end up with superb dessert choice. Extensive wine list. Such quality, cà va sans dire, has its price: be prepared for a credit card meltdown if you ask for white truffle!
