Circolo Maurice, Turin

Maurice is a gay and lesbian cultural society which is a member of the Arci Nuova Association. It was founded in 1985 and has formed a gay, lesbian and transsexual Coordination together with other groups in order to develop a initiative for a common network. The Circolo Maurice, near Porta Palazzo, holds many evening events on gay and lesbian problems and relations with the rest of the town. They have hosted various debates with different members of the town council. On Fridays they show films, and Saturdays are devoted to young members. The club offers 1,500 texts on these themes.
