San Tommaso, 10- Caffè Lavazza, Turin

The adventure of the entrepreneur Luigi Lavazza began in 1895, in a simple grocer's in Via San Tommaso. One hundred years later, his heirs transformed the old grocer's into an elegant café which has revitalized the old Gambero district, not only because of the food served here, but also because of the cultural events, the writers meetings and the poetry evenings on offer. There is also more to appreciate than the coffee blends and drinks available, as they also serve some good piedmontese dishes. This is one of the few bars in Italy where customers can order a coffee from the menu and choose their favorite from a choice of tens of different blends.
