Algiubagiò, Venice

Algiubagiò is both a restaurant and a snack bar facing the Northern Lagoon. A convenient place to have lunch coming back from Burano or a nice place to have dinner either on the tables out front on the Fondamenta Nove embankments or in the large room inside. They serve snacks, pizza, and salads. At the restaurant the highlight of their menu is meat, especially beef meat (including the famous large Chianina steak ) but Algiubagiò also offers vegetarian dishes and a large choice of cheese, including fresh cheeses served either with jam, grapes or tomatoes. Their wine list includes mostly Veneto's wines but they have some good brands from other Italian regions too.
