Palma, Warsaw

This funky little beach-themed restaurant-cum-club, Palma,  is a breath of cool seaside air for the ever-growing crowd of city dwellers in Warsaw. The bright and cheerful ocean-related interior, featuring sand-filled floors, sunset-colored walls, wicker furniture, fish tanks, a palm tree and lots of cheeky aquatic treasures, is a great place to linger with friends or dance the night away in comfortable flip-flops. The menu, meanwhile, is an interesting mix of Polish and international delicacies, including sirloin tartare, tagiatelle with salmon, roast duck with apple pancakes and cranberries and trout with almonds and beans. Cocktails, too, are well worth a try.
