Staromiejski is located just in front of the Royal Castle, between Piwna and Swietojanska Streets. If you happen to come to Warsaw in the summer or early autumn, you can enjoy sitting down in Staromiejski's summer garden, right on the square itself. Staromiejski is part of the same operation as the nearby Pub Piwna 2, but it has an altogether different ambiance. First of all it's more modern, and not quite so spacious as the other place. If you sit at the bar, you may look out towards the Royal Castle and the panorama of the King's Way. It's always full of tourists, young professionals in their twenties and a bunch of regulars. The menu of Staromiejski is basically the same as in Pub Piwna 2, therefore you will find a variety of fish, poultry, venison, meat and soup prepared in the Polish style, always served with a load of baked potatoes. Take the chance to sit outside and admire the view, while sipping on some Polish beer.
