Overview
The name of this museum may seem odd, but it's an interesting place. It provides a look at the rapid development of city life through the introduction of mass consumption household gas delivery. Beginning with gas lamps and progressing to individual households, the installation of gas to every home and apartment is a much under-appreciated accomplishment. This museum highlights the tremendous effort involved in that process. Fascinating stuff.
