This recently-opened restaurant, owned by the proprietor of the highly acclaimed Ballymakeigh House, is set just one hundred metres back from the main road going eastwards from Killeagh. The restaurant is open for snacks and lunches during the day, when hungry visitors can fill up on hearty meals such as roast sirloin of beef, salmon mayonnaise, and fresh plaice. Evening meals are available only at the weekend. The style of cooking here is simple and domestic in style, but performed with the same assurance which has made Ballymakeigh House so successful.
