Overview

This unusual, almost Celtic-themed pub takes its name from its prominent stone fireplace, shaped like a bearded old man. Adorned with tapestries on the wall and archways shaped like old trees, the Long Stone is a large spacious bar on several levels that draws a local and student crowd. Its interior, which also features book-lined alcoves and newspapers on the wall, is perhaps a little too self-consciously "Oirish" for those seeking an authentic pub experience, but it's a lot of fun, too.
