Overview
The River Corrib is divided into various sections, where different fishing regulations apply. Section Two, for example, runs from the regulated Weir to the Salmon Weir Bridge, frequently fished by notables such as Jack Charlton donning waders. Salmon, trout and grilse are the fish that are found in these waters, where fly-fishing for trout can be quite challenging and rewarding. The river is managed by the Central Fisheries Board; for further information contact the Fisheries Manager at the number provided.
