Errislannan Manor is situated on the Errislannan peninsula, a prominent fixture jutting out into the turbulent Atlantic ocean. The centre is sheltered by surrounding woodland and the manor overlooks a trout lake, with moors and mountains extending beyond. Excellent facilities are available, including Connemara pony-riding for children and adults. Beginners and the more experienced alike can trek or canter over rough moorland, hills or beaches, all providing spectacular views. There is a sand arena and a cross-country course for the especially adept. Errislannan is recommended by A.I.R.E. (Association of Riding Establishments) and Bord Failte, the Irish tourist board. Riding and trekking is available by the hour Monday through Friday.
