Blind Piper (The), Killarney

Exposed wooden beams, stone walls, and polished flag floors give a traditional atmosphere to The Blind Piper. Most tables have a view of the surrounding garden or pretty village. This cosy, welcoming pub offers excellent meals at reasonable cost. Wholesome and hearty home cooked foods are featured on the extensive menu. Soups, salads, sandwiches, and hot entrées are freshly prepared. Local seafood, lamb, beef, and chicken are offered in a variety of ways. Steamed mussels or warm salad of mixed greens with crispy bacon and brown bread are exceptional, particularly when washed down with a creamy pint. In the summer there are good traditional sessions on Wednesday and Saturday nights.
