Exuding an old fashioned elegance, dining in the Butler Arms, once a favorite haunt of Charlie Chaplin, is an immemorable experience. The astonishing bar menu is really in a class of its own. Warm tuna on ciabatta with grantinated cheese, fresh oyster platter, steak in pepper sauce, and a host of unusual sandwiches make choosing a difficult, but enjoyable task. Rack of lamb with mint, chicken with poitin and smoked salmon sauce, and lobsters are all popular options. There is a special vegetarian entrée each night. A ten percent service is charged for parties of ten or more.
