This pub is known colloquially as the Black and White Pub because of its white and black facade. It was called the Locke because of its location, right on the banks of the river Shannon. Locke's attracts a mixed crowd. A very varied clientele enjoy interesting conversation that quite often turns to the game of rugby, the proprietor Richard Costello used to play rugby for Ireland.
