Housed in the Mercat Santa Caterina, Cuines Santa Caterina or "Santa Caterina Kitchens" is named in the plural because of the different cuisines served. The theme of the Mercat blends right in, with ample use of textured wood, skylights and tall shelves displaying fresh ingredients which, not surprisingly, come from the market. The open kitchen adds to the informal yet casual chic ambiance, attracting the casual tourist and the well-shod businessman alike. They dish out exotic Asian salads, fresh juices, pastas and even sushi. The latecomer's option is to stand by the Tapas Bar, but no one's complaining!
