Block of Discord, Barcelona

The Manzana de Discordia, which means "block of discord" or "apple of discord," taken from Greek mythology, is located in Barcelona's Eixample neighborhood. This block is perhaps Barcelona's most recognizable group of buildings. The Manzana de Discordia is home to Gaudí's Casa Batlló, Domènich i Montaner's Casa Lleo Morera and Puig i Cadafalch's Casa Amatller, three of the most famous works of Modernista architecture that Barcelona is so well known for. Although not all of these famous buildings permit visitors on the inside, no trip to Barcelona is complete without at least a quick visit to the Manzana de Discordia
