    Previously named Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc, this stadium, designed by Pere Domich i Roura and built for the 1929 Universal Expo, was totally renovated in order to host events during the 1992 Olympic Games. Only the impressive Marathon Gate remains from the original building. This is where the 1992 games' opening ceremony took place. Nowadays, you can come here to watch soccer matches, American soccer and pop concerts. Even the RCD Espanyol soccer team and the Dragons, the city's American soccer team use it.
