Overview

The Versus Teatre opened in the year 1995 under the auspices of the Barcelona Alternative Theatre Co-ordinating Committee. The theater is unusual in that it has an 8 by 8 meter stage which enables the audience to watch the show from different angles .It showcases a wide range of plays, fringe and so on. Versus Teatre also puts up an annual poetry show, titled Poets and Prophets, which offers an interesting array of lectures on the theatrical world.
