Calle (La), Gran Canaria

This venue holds live concerts by local, national and well-known international groups. The doors open quite late, but you can dance almost until morning. You have to pay to see a concert; the price depends on the quality and fame of the group playing and also includes a drink. It's free to get in if there's no show. There are usually lots of people crowded around the bars, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The place from the inside looks like a street (calle), hence its name, due to its length and also because the dance floor is defined by two pavements with appropriate signs and lines painted on the floor.
