Overview
Expressionist painter Antonio Padrón beautifully captured the essence of everyday Canarian life in his paintings. A local of the island, his works reflect the history and culture of his birthplace, which give a better understanding of Gran Canaria, than any amount of guided tours. More than one hundred paintings of the famous artist are on display at the Casa Museo Antonio Padrón in Gáldar. The museum is fittingly located in the artist's own studio.
