Churrasco Argentino (El), Gran Canaria

This restaurant, located in the well-known La Sandía Shopping Center, is owned by an Argentine who is well versed in the wonderful meat from his country, given that he spent many years in Buenos Aires working in the best establishments. The decoration is simple, with emphasis on the enormous iron grill stategically located in the dining room itself. This grill burns branches of white breakax trees, imported directly from Argentina giving the food a unique flavor. Among the specialties here are the Argentine empanadas (pasties), grilled strips of ribs, sweetbread, and the typical chorizo sausages of this South American country. Open all year round.
