Overview
This is one of the biggest archeological sites on Gran Canaria. The whole area is in a good state of preservation. It's located next to the Tufia fishing district, and there are at present at least ten well-conserved prehistoric houses, adjoining cobbled streets. A large structure in the centre of the settlement indicates that this could have been a meeting place. To get there, you have to cross a spectacular formation of brilliant yellow fossilized dunes. Although it's fenced off, you can get in by obtaining a key from a neighbour.
