The Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation is a wonderful way to remember and honor the great painter José María Rodríguez-Acosta. Founded in the year 1941, the foundation is not only a gallery of his greatest works but also serves as a cultural center, which provides a medium and encourages and supports many who are connected to the same profession. The architectural structure of the foundation is also a perfect example of a typical Carmen house. Because of it's sheer magnificence, it is not surprising that the foundation was declared National Monument in the year 1982. Entry only by phone appointment.
