The emphasis here is on simplicity. The decor is simple and basic. The menu is far from elaborate either, but the results are superb. You get high quality, fresh ingredients cooked to perfection, like tender grilled hake, succulent grilled steak and mouthwatering roast red peppers. The wines on offer mainly come from La Rioja and Ribera del Duero. It's located on the first floor of a central office block next to where there was once a pelota (handball) or frontón court, hence the name. There are private dining rooms available and two other branches on Calle Pedro Muguruza, 8 and Calle Infanta María Teresa, 19.
