A trend setting restaurant that opened in the mid-1980s serving a sophisticated cuisine influenced by Arab, Japanese and even New York recipes, but prepared with traditional Spanish ingredients. The house speciality is Pork Loin on Puff Pastry with Pear Sauce. Other outstanding dishes include Sea Bass Madrid-style, Cod on a Bed of Potatoes and Leeks, and Courgettes (zucchini) with Black Pudding and Roast Pepper Salad. The house red wine is a fine Rioja from Bodegas Palacio and the white is from Rueda. The dining room has an attractive setting in a romantic interior patio full of colorful plants, classical columns and antique mirrors.
