Chulapa en Mayrit (La), Madrid

La Chulapa en Mayrit (otherwise known as "la taberna de las pelotas calientes," or the "hot balls tavern"), is a funky twist on the traditional Spanish tapas bar. It's got the blue and white tiles so typical of the latter, plus a kinky menu item that will leave any customer's mouth watering, including big, hot potato balls that come stuffed with any of the following ingredients: meat, spinach, crab, Roquefort, or tuna, and drizzled with a creamy sauce. Apart from the overwhelming sexual innuendos, this bar also offers cold Alhambra beer on tap (an Andalusian treat).
