This gallery specializes in showing work by Catalan artists or those who trained in Catalonia. You'll see contemporary representational and impressionist work by painters like Julian Grau Santos, Rafael Durán, Bosco Martí, Ortuño, Moscardó, Javier Blanch, Pichot, and Gloria Muñoz. It opened in 1960 as an off-shoot of Barcelona's early 20th-century Sala Parés gallery. In honor of its precursor, it also shows some 19th-century paintings.
