Los Galayos, Madrid

Plaza Mayor is indeed one of the most happening places to wine and dine in Madrid, but the cake or the 'Suckling Pig' is here taken by Los Galayos. The restaurant is immensely popular due to this dish and their menu consists of other delicacies like Croquettes filled with Iberic Ham or Juicy Grill white Veal from Avila. The USP of the place is also the 18th Century hand carved bar at the Tapas bar. History goes to state that it was indeed the meeting point of many mentally exhilarating discussions for many thinkers and patrons include the famed poet Pablo Neruda. The bar here serves the beer called Mahou, a specialty of Madrid.. Eating and drinking at the Los Galayos is indeed a culturally and gastronomically enriching outing.
