Overview

The Metropolis Building was built in 1911 and has been headquarters of an insurance company. It is a building that works its way from a simple ground level to an intricate work of art at the top. The dome originally had the Phoenix to represent the company Fenix, which was the insurance company. However, when they moved to another location, they took along with them the Phoenix. Today, on the building stands the Statue of Victory, also called "the Roman Goddess Victoria." Many shopping malls and restaurants are available for travelers throughout the Gran Via. But don't forget to take a look at the Edificio MetrĂ³polis and admire it's beauty.
